SUMMARY

In our last exploration on the essential truths found in Le Petit Prince, we zoom in on health and humanitarian action by handing the microphone to the Fondation Antoine de Saint-Exupéry pour la Jeunesse who wrote:

"Antoine de Saint-Exupéry shares a secret with us, ‘one can see properly only with the heart’ and ‘what is essential is invisible to the eye’. Looking at things as a child enables us to understand, to see differently, and to act with our hearts. Thus, the child becomes, for the adult, an obvious responsibility as children represent the future of the world. Therefore, there exists a need to protect, inform, and get involved in the health of all, by creating an environment that facilitates healing and the ‘creation of bonds’ that are human, profound and lasting. ‘Taking care’ is time spent that actually becomes time gained."
